Churches Together in Shirley and District (CTiS) provides a forum for churches in the area, to practically outwork the unity we have as Christians. It aims to strengthen existing relationships among all Christian traditions and to share regularly in worship, study, prayer, witness, service and mission.

Most churches in Shirley are part of CTiS, covering a wide range of denominations and independent fellowships. The committee consists of representatives from all member churches, and meets four times a year.

Regular events organised by CTiS are Christmas and Good Friday services in Shirley Precinct, and a series of daily prayer meetings during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in January.
